Nuremberg Christmas market achieves top ranking

The Nuremberg Christkindlesmarkt was named one of the Top 100 attractions in Germany in a survey by the German National Tourist Board.

Our popular Christmas Market was ranked 86th in a list of favorite German tourism destinations. Travelers from 40 countries selected their personal German tourism favorites in an online survey. Historical places, famous buildings and traditional events all made the list. As the only Christmas Market in the Top 100, the Nuremberg Christkindlesmarkt achieved an outstanding and unique status. Another Nuremberg attraction was also chosen in the survey – the Imperial Castle of Nuremberg placed 30^th.

The German National Tourist Board (GNTB) represents the travel destination Germany on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy. Its mission is the promotion of the positive image of Germany as a travel destination in the international market and the support of tourism to Germany.
