The Christmas Angel as a Plastic Figure

Available now made from plastic and gold: the Nuremberg Christmas Angel.

 You can now also buy the Nuremberg Christmas Angel as a plastic figure. The sculpture is 30 centimetres high, was created by the artist Ottmar Hörl, and depicts the Christmas Angel in gold. It is available at 30 Euros, as the City of Nuremberg informs. In addition, there is a limited edition of 200 hand-signed copies at 59 Euros each. Part of the proceeds from the sales will go towards the further extension of the Christmas lights in the Old Town.

Famous Motifs as Plastic Figures

Hörl is well-known for manufacturing famous motifs as plastic figures in great numbers and presenting them as art in the public domain. Amongst others, he created the Dürer hare and Wagner's dog.

From now, the Christmas Angel will be available in many shops in the inner city, in the tourist information offices of the Tourismuszentrale, in the museums and on the internet.
